End of Summer Week 1

Results for GBDS vs. BCD
Are now posted on the meet results page.

Volunteeering

Thank you to all who volunteered at our home meet this Thursday. You did a great job! The Grandville Invite is quickly approaching and they will need a lot of volunteers. If you can afford your time, please email Sheila Bosworth and let her know you can help. If not, she will have to select people to volunteer and you may be one of them. Please do your part!

USA Long Course Practices (USA)

I am aware that having afternoon practices presents specific challenges for some of our USA swimmers. You paid for the cost of these lanes in USA costs, it is in your best interest to attend. Please realize that other programs go twice a day 3, 4 or even 5 times per week. If your child and our program want to compete, we need to get our swimmers to these practices. Please make sure if your child is a USA athlete, that they make these practices.

EGRA Meet (USA)
Please read the message below from Caroline at JAWS if you are a 12 and under and want to sign up for EGRA.

Dear Parents,

I just heard from EGRA that the 12 and under session is a go! This session is an invitational - it is closed to only five teams. This session is also sanctioned by Michigan Swimming, so it is guaranteed that the times for this meet will count for state meet. This session is on a Friday, so everyone will still be able to attend the Grandville meet if they choose. Right now we have only a few signed up, and because it is a closed invitational, we would like some more to attend.

So, we are re-opening the sign-ups for this meet in hopes that more will sign up. I have attached the packet. Please read carefully and highlight your child's events. The fee for the meet is $12, plus the usual $6 admin costs. Sign-ups and fees are due on Monday, June 28 to the black mailbox.

Thanks, Caroline
